When is it necessary to produce license plates?

Manufacture of license plates may be required in the following cases:

• When registering a vehicle.
  When purchasing a car, you will receive license plates. Typically, during vehicle registration, you will get brand-new plates. However, if you decided to keep the plates from your previous vehicle and left them in storage at the service center, you might want to update them with our help.
• When replacing damaged or lost plates.
  According to the Traffic Rules of Ukraine (Clause 2.9), drivers are not allowed to operate vehicles with dirty, worn-out, or unreadable license plates. The level of dirt or damage is considered acceptable only if the characters are still distinguishable from a distance of 20 meters. Violating these rules may result in a fine of 1190 UAH, in accordance with Part 1 of Article 121-3 of the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offenses.
• When obtaining personalized license plates.
  Usually, you will receive the text on your personalized plate written as one solid word. If you wish to have spaces in specific places, you can contact our company. We will produce official duplicates of the personalized plates and insert spaces in the inscription according to your request.
